How We Work
The way we work is a reflection of our proposal: we visit Rio’s mountains, beaches and summits in the best way... through the rainforest and the nature. We work only with quite small groups (up to 10 people) to minimize impact on trails, to cease contact with nature and to improve our chance to cross paths with wild animals and exchange experiences among participants.
When booking a tour, observe duration, extension and other info to make sure you are able to take part in it. Our tours have a large range of difficulty (easy, moderate and hard) and you don’t need to be an athlete nor have previous experience to be a part of it. Nonetheless all tours include an amount of physical activity. The tour always includes instructions on how to walk on rough terrain and how to warm-up well. Note that hiking and walking on trails require more physical capacity then walking in plan area. The activities are not recommended for sedentary people, people with a history of cardiovascular problems and lung disease or children under 12 years.
Transportation is included within the South Zone area of Rio through the following neighborhoods: Leblon, Ipanema, Copacabana, Leme, Botafogo, Flamengo, Glória, Catete and Santa Teresa (for some specific streets of this covered neighborhoods with difficult access may be necessary to set up a close meeting point). If you are not located in these districts you must choose a meeting point within this area when booking (you'll choose in a dropdown menu).
